When Stüssy Japan was looking to collaborate on a classic shoe silhouette for the 2011. Stüssy Deluxe collection, the similarly shaped Converse Pro Ox model was a natural choice. The project was well received and eventually led to updated colorways for a 2012 release. Shortly thereafter, the Stüssy and Converse relationship finally expanded to the USA with two stylish models offered just in time for summer.

Stussy New York x Converse First String Pro Leather (August 2012)
Stussy New York and Converse joined forces to produce a modern update of the iconic Converse Pro Leather basketball shoe. The Converse Pro Leather has been a staple sneaker in the basketball world since the 1970s and the Stussy New York Crew was given the chance to make their version representing NYC. This edition featured an Americana themed patchwork design made of high quality fabrics and construction that has become synonymous with the Converse First String label. The Stussy New York x Converse First String Pro Leather was limited to only 125 pairs and sold out completely in one day.
Stussy x Converse Elm and Sea Star (May 2012)
The Stussy x Converse Elm and Sea Star shoes were released in May 2012 just in time for the Summer 2012 season. The Stussy x Converse Elm features high quality black leather along with sturdy d-ring eyelets, cord laces, camo lining and stamped Stussy logo on the outer heel. The Stussy x Converse Sea Star resembles a classic boat shoe style and is available in ripstop camo or solid black ripstop with leather laces.
Stussy Deluxe x Converse CX-Pro Ox (May 2012)
The second edition of the Stussy Deluxe x Converse CX-Pro Ox was released in Japan in May 2012. This series featured updated colors from the first Stussy Deluxe x Converse shoes and the same classic silhouette similar to the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor shoes. Highlights include the Stussy SS Link on the heels and a tonal Converse logo on the black color or contrasting white Converse logo on the camouflage color. Available in Japan only in black or duck camo.
Stussy Deluxe x Converse CX-Pro Ox (July 2011)
The Stussy Deluxe x Converse CX-Pro Ox first edition was released in Japan in July 2011 and featured an updated rendition of the classic Converse CX-Pro from the 1970’s. Highlights include the Stussy SS Link logo printed on the heels along with a tonal flocked Converse Pro Star logo on the sides. These limited edition Converse shoes also feature the Converse Star logo and Stussy Deluxe logo on the footbed. Available in Japan only in off white or navy.
